Equality Impact Assessments

We aim to deliver healthcare services that are equitable in terms of access and outcomes to all members of the population which we serve regardless of age, gender (including transgender), race, ethnicity or national origin, religion or belief, sexual orientation, age, financial status or domestic circumstances. In order to do this, all services, strategies and policies are assessed to see how they might impact on different groups and this information is used to amend and improve our services.

As part of this ongoing process we have developed a new Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) Toolkit which is available below.
